-Since its founding, the mission of our ensemble has been to preserve the culture, customs, dances, and songs of all communities living in Montenegro. For eight decades, it has brought together members of all faiths and nationalities of our homeland, who, with every performance, send a message of harmony and unity – both on domestic and international stages.

-Today, we are proud to emphasize that our comunity is the oldest multicultural artistic association in Montenegro, and at the same time one of the country’s most successful ensembles.

-Its dedication to preserving the cultural heritage of Montenegro has been widely recognized, and as a result, we are now proud members of “UFACG” – the Association of Folklore Ensembles of Montenegro, and “CIOFF” – the International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts, operating under the auspices of UNESCO.

-Over the years, we have proven our ability to successfully carry out international projects, so in 2012, (thanks to our established collaborations with the cities of Shkodra and Ulcinj) we organized the first cross-border children’s festival – here in Tuzi – and inaugurated a fully equipped ethnographic room, co-financed by the EU IPA Fund, which stands as a lasting cultural and heritage asset.

-For over 20 consecutive years, we have proudly hosted “May 9 – Europe Day in Tuzi” and commemorated Tuzi’s main local celebration, December 15 – Liberation Day of Tuzi.

-In addition, we have successfully carried out numerous projects with the support of Montenegrin institutions, the Minority Fund, the Center for the Preservation and Development of Minority Cultures (CEKUM), the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry for Minorities, the City of Podgorica, the Municipality of Tuzi, as well as the Cultural and Informative Center “Budo Tomović” and “Malesija”.

-Today, over 200 active members continue the ensemble’s mission, carrying Montenegro’s cultural traditions forward with pride and dedication!
